Tottori R&D Center is where we develop new products and through a continuous evolution process, improve existing products. Tottori works closely with our plants to improve process and products characteristics using advanced equipment such as X-Ray fluorescence spectrometers, Scanning Electron Microscope, and a battery of specially designed test filters, which allow us to help our customers with their filtration requirements. Major business activities include product analysis, supervision of quality control, and proposals for filter aids best suited to our customers' needs.
We also maintain an extensive database on all diatomite and perlite filter aids available on the market, and have established a reputation as a leading authority on diatomite and perlite filter aids and bulking agents. We also place strong emphasis on the development of new products tailored to meet the needs of our customers.
We are fully registered and active members of both IDPA, the International Diatomite Producers Association, and of the Perlite Institute. We contribute regularly to the Japanese Filtration Society.
